SpringHill Suites by Marriott Roanoke

We stay at Marriott all the time, my daughter is a Diamond member so we usually get very good service. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this kind of mediocre Marriott. Not being there for just vacation, it was very clean, it included a wonderful hot breakfast as long as you’re there on time, and although I did not get to use the facilities, it had a nice inside pool a wonderful patio out back, and a gym. More than anything after staying at a lot of Marriotts,I have to say that this staff was excellent. From the front desk, to the little lounge out front, and to the people that serve the breakfast in the morning. Everyone was friendly, even the housekeepers had a smile on their face. I will definitely be staying here again, since I’m not here for business, but I’m here because I need to be. oh yes, and everything was kept very tidy and clean. Pretty amazing little stay, very close to everything needed and very close to the hospital there. and the lounge downstairs by the way, even though it may have just burgers and sandwiches and salads, the food was excellent just saying I don’t eat fast food, but it was excellent.

Room was nice, bed slept good. Sturdy enough for grown folks biz. Didn't care to much about the tub shower combo. Breakfast was hitting. Downtown was jumping. Nightlife on point. Scenic view at the Star was dope.

Clean, decent place staff was excellent, but the additional $10.00 per night to park, at a hotel you're already paying to stay at. Thumbs down. Lot floods bad and stays somewhat flooded many hours after it rains. Internet is not a reliable connection. TV remotes dont work and due to internet neither does the streaming. There are better options for the price.
